I don't think so. Generally, if I try to tweet or post the HomeAgain alert, it will update with a notice saying the pet is found. But since this notice is not appearing I am assuming Max is still lost.

Pointers tend to be independent and like to explore so Max could have traveled a great distance. Lawrence is not a small town but it is not a big city either and we are surrounded by countryside. There's lots of places a hunting dog like Max could have found interesting and each scent could lead to a new one.

There was a Found report filed with the Lost Dog Registry regarding a liver and white German Shorthair Pointer.  Here are the specifics ...might be worth following up on.

Spoke to PV Animal Control and they said the owner of the dog they found was returned to the owner. It is not the same as the dog who is missing, unfortunately. The owners of the dog animal control found lives in PV, and from what animal control said, this particular dog gets out all the time.  :0(
