I went to visit the lab-mixes Otis and Elijah today to check on them. They are still needing a home, Mr. Crow has graciously and caringly fostered them for some time now. They are doing so much better than when I saw them last. They have put on weight and are looking healthier than before, and neither one of them limps at all anymore, so they have healed quite nicely through time. The gash on Otis's leg was what amazed me even more than the limp being gone from his walk! It is still open, but has reduced in size tremendously, and hair has started growing back over the part that has healed up. These are both very people friendly dogs and love the attention they get. They are being kept outside, and have not been potty-trained, but they look to be more than happy outside. Please pass on the word to friends or consider taking one or both into your homes, thank you!

Could you post Otis's picture again along with Elijah's? We got a headless picture of him here. lol I'd like to be able to post this to FB with headshots of both of them on the link. That leg looks much better and am glad to hear they have lost the limp. If these two dogs are even half as sweet as their buddy, King, they will be the greatest dogs anyone has ever been lucky enough to adopt.

They are so cute...I wish my yard was bigger...
