Oh my goodness! I did not get the notice that Yoshi had passed. I am so sorry for your loss! I am so glad Yoshi had such a good owner and found a good life with you. All my thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope the funeral services go well, unfortunately I am on shift that day and cannot make it.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Yoshi. My heart goes out to your and your family. :`(

Louis, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know Yoshi will continue to live on within all of you and her spirit will continue to ride shotgun.

I am so sorry to read about Yoshi Louis. My heart breaks for you. It hurts when we lose one of our babies. Yoshi was the luckiest dog ever to have had you!

Sorry for your loss.    Yoshi will be missed.   I wish I could be there.

Louis, I did not know Yoshi was ill.  Was this sudden?  While no other dog can replace a loved one, others bring joy and happiness to one's life.  I hope another dog will find happiness with you.

Louis, I am SO sorry to learn of this sad news.  Yoshi was quite a trouper, despite her health concerns.  A real example and inspiration to the rest of us to carry on the work she began.

Louis: I am so very saddened to read of Yoshi's passing from this side of life as we know it. I know you hold her forever in your heart as the true and great friend she has been to you. Pets have a such unique way of loving us unconditionally. And everyday with them is always like a fresh beginning. That is evident in how they welcome us over and over as if some great amount of time has passed between time together. The reunion is always one of great joy even if only minutes have passed since you were apart. If only we as humans could learn that depth of joy in companionsip. I'm sure many will agree that just as Yoshi was a wonderful partner, loyal companion and diligent worker with you, side by side, assisting you with the many pets in need, we all here have been pleased to look on and share your very special time with her. Indeed this is a sad event that has transpired, but the joy she brought you and to countless others will remain and live on. My thoughts and prayers are with you as continue on. And the reunion one day will be a joyous occasion!

What a beautiful surprise. My parents funerals were with Johnson Moore. That Yoshi is being remembered in a human funeral home makes me very happy. Louis, what an amazing honor you have bestowed upon your little soul mate. I so wish I could attend. I have lost several Shih Tzus and other little "children" over the course of my lifetime. These losses hurt every bit as much as when we lose our human friends and family Peace and love be with you, with Yoshi, and with all who gather to celebrate her precious and meaningful life...

If it would not distract from the spirit of the memorial, it would be very nice to video the service, that it may bring comfort to others who have lost a special love.

Loius im so sorry for your loss.. I just rcently went through the same sition and I know no animal will replace her. Myheart goes out to you... God bless !!!!

As I reflected back over past rescues shared on Pet Commando in addition to our personal experiences, it seems by the very nature of our mission to save desperate animals that we open ourselves for inexplicable joy--the rescue, as well as the potential for deep heartache--too soon a loss.  This time, it's the latter.  Even so, may the joys outweigh the heartaches as we continue our effort.  I will see you this evening.

A very beautiful and touching service for a beautiful and touching little dog. The bond Louis and Yoshi had was the like the bond you see in movies and read about in books. I have no doubt that right now, somewhere, there are other peoples "Yoshi's" waiting to be found, and I am just as sure that their stories will be discovered by Louis and other Commandos.
