Lightning Seeks a New Forever Home - Pure Bred Akita
UPDATE: LIGHTNING HAS FOUND A NEW FOREVER HOME.This 70+ pound full-blood Akita named Lightning turns 1-year old this month. His owners are moving to an apartment which doesn't accept pets.
Lightning likes to run outdoors in the backyard. He'll play fetch with anything-sticks, balls. He would probably be a good only pet although he doesn't mind other dogs as long as they don't invade his space!
The new owner must be strong because he's a muscular dog, but very loving. Akitas are protective dogs and make great family pets. They have a double coat so if you've never had a pet like this, you have to adjust to seasonal fur shedding.
Lightning's owners will sadly miss him but will give him with papers to a good home. We are charging a $150 re-homing fee - all proceeds go to support the Pet Commando project. Contact damir@petcommando.com for more info on this great dog.

We just lowered the adoption fee to $150. Great for a pure breed. The owner needs to find a good home for this guy fast.
