UPDATE: THESE DOGS ALL FOUND FOREVER HOMES WITHIN A WEEK OF BEING RESCUED.

These five adorable dogs were left behind when the owner moved off. They were left outdoors to fend for themselves. I took them all home with me (and we already have several dogs - but might keep just one of these). They are looking for new forever homes. They need an owner who will love them and make up for the terrible time they have gone through being abandoned. If you are interested, please call my sister, Bobbie at 903-821-0255

Please pass this information on to anyone who might want to adopt one of these little guys.

Two of these guys left as of now,,,the Dachshund, he is male, not neutered, I would guess about 1-3 years old, looks to be in good health. He seems to be shy at first but does not take long at all to get used to you and wants to be in your lap afterwards.  The other that is still available is a neutered male, I would guess 2-5 years, and appears to be mix of Japanese Chin and Shih Tzu.  He favors the Chin much more, but due to his coloring I am guessing the black and white Chin and the blonde and white female Shih Tzu were his parents.  He is very affectionate right away and loves to be held.  Please pass the word to friends and help try to find these little abandoned dogs a good loving home they deserve.

Great pictures! This Dachshund is a very nice, well-behaved dog. He deserves a great human to take care of him.

Is the blond dog still available?. My son and I are interested? 757-348-7676. I have a female yorkie in need of a friend.

Vanessa, these five dogs all found homes very quickly. Thanks for asking. We'll send out a notice when someone has rescued more small dogs and if they're listed in the Sherman-Denison commando page, you'll get an email.

I am amazed you were able to find all of these 5 dogs homes so quickly. Great job, Louis and Bobbie!!!!
