HOW TO: Lost or Found Pets

You can look for or list a lost, found or adoptable pet on the Message Board of your Local Pet Commando Group for your city or state. This is a free service of petcommando.com.

Posts for adoptable pets are available for people who have taken in a stray and wish to find it a home and for people who wish to place their own pets in new homes. Please review the following guidelines before placing your listing here in this message board:

Pet Commando's goal is to help find a home for every adoptable pet, so no ads encouraging or supporting the breeding of animals are permitted here.

For the safety of the animals, "free to good home" ads will not be posted. Adoption fees should be set at a reasonable amount meant to discourage unethical people from collecting animals. Fees should not be based on an animal's registration status, breed, or local desirability. Ads that appear to be selling animals for profit or seem excessive will not be posted on the site.

  • You must register as a member of Pet Commando to post a listing.
  • You should add the listing under the Local Tab above, then choose the group for your state. If your state is not listed, you may start a group or email info@petcommando.com and we will open up a local group for you. If you are in a border town, you are encouraged to list the animal in both states Pet Commando groups.
  • Pictures of the pets are encourage. The better the photo the better chance the pet has to be adopted. Give the adoptable pet a name - named pets find homes faster.
  • Tell us where you lost or found the pet. For adoptable pets, why you can't keep it yourself.
  • Please add an update to the top of the listing after the pet has been placed, or send us an update so we will stop featuring the listing.

Please let us know if you know of a pet that is in immediate danger or there is a special circumstance that you believe should be included in an episode of Pet Commando. Email info@petcommando.com

update : Sweet Little Dodson Mix is safe and sound  in her new home  with a buddy named Rosco and two sweet little girls to spoil her !!!!!

Sweet female  Dodson mix breed  dog  found in Nautilus parking lot in Denison. Was also seen around Mayes school.  Very friendly . knows commands  sit -etc ,goes to the door to go out, doesn't  bark . very laid back - good natured ... please call Karen 903- 814 4946

Update...  We were finally able to catch up with the sweet male puppy from the Morrison office building. He has been adopted out to a great home just in time for christmas!!!!

This little guy showed up 2 days ago.  I would say 6mth old maybe?  Has baby teeth but no puppy's breath.  Weight is 18lbs.  VERY SMART little guy

Small Shiz Tzu Mix  ? at the Morrison Office building  in Denison  - Near the old TMC . Sweet male  Scared. He  has been out there for  about a week .

Louis, there is a brindle colored dog, not sure what breed...looks like a mix. about medium size that is running my neighborhood over in the 1100 blk of Owings. He was in my yard earlier today. Just checking to see if anyone has lost a dog anything like him.

His name is Bo-Ziggy  came missing on Tuesday 24th, he is 6 months old.....very friendly....had collar blue and green and bandana on. He a Newfounland mix, last seen in front of my house. live in Coushatta Dr just out side city limits, He never went far from house, so if any one see's him please call me 903-337-0663 or cell 903-624-0992 or email me williamsalice296@gmail.com

My husky has been missing since Fri june 22 he was last seen infront of CVS Pharmacy on morton st in denison hes very social he loves people and he likes to give 5 and big hugs his name is Glacier if anyone sees him please call at 903 819 0980 or email aaronailey@cableone.net
