Please list a lost or adoptable pet on the Message Board of the Local Pet Commando Group for your state. This is a free service of petcommando.com.

Posts for adoptable pets are available for people who have taken in a stray and wish to find it a home and for people who wish to place their own pets in new homes. Please review the following guidelines before placing your listing here in this message board:

Pet Commando's goal is to help find a home for every adoptable pet, so no ads encouraging or supporting the breeding of animals are permitted here.

For the safety of the animals, "free to good home" ads will not be posted. Adoption fees should be set at a reasonable amount meant to discourage unethical people from collecting animals. Fees should not be based on an animal's registration status, breed, or local desirability. Ads that appear to be selling animals for profit or seem excessive will not be posted on the site.

• You must register as a member of Pet Commando to post a listing.
• You should add the listing under the Local Tab above, then choose the group for your state. If your state is not listed, you may start a group or email info@petcommando.com and we will open up a local group for you. If you are in a border town, you are encouraged to list the animal in both states Pet Commando groups.
• Pictures of the pets are encourage. The better the photo the better chance the pet has to be adopted. Give the adoptable pet a name - named pets find homes faster.
• Tell us where you lost or found the pet. For adoptable pets, why you can't keep it yourself.
• Please add an update to the top of the listing after the pet has been placed, or send us an update so we will stop featuring the listing.
