I'm not well-versed on wild birds.  My good friend told me it's an adult bird, which ruled out it being a dove.  Apparently it crashed into a window, rather than being a young chick out of the nest..  After a couple days of rest and food, birdie was able to fly away today!!!  So glad it's going to be OK!!  If anyone knows what kind of bird it is, I would appreciate the info!
