Thanks Louis! 
A decent camera with a fast shutter is pretty important (I use a Nikon D3100)... especially when photographing dogs at shelters or during playtime. I also take a ton of photos, a lot of times I'm up to 300 shots before I finally sit down to upload them. Most of the time out of those 300, less than 100 of them are worth keeping but the more you take, the more candid moments you will capture.
