The passing Cleo

I am sad to recive the news of Cleo passing away. My cat CJ has kidney failure. I will be saying good bye to my cat in the next year or two.

If you have a dog or a cat have it microchip. A coller or tag can fall or be taken off. All 4 of my cats have microchip. I had a chip put in my cat Thomas it cost me $38.00. In Sarasota, FL a kitten…Continue

In Sarasota, FL a kitten got out of the home. 8 years later the kitten was found by the SPCA in San Francisco, CA. If your lost pet shows up at a vet of animal services. They will scann the chip and help get your pet home. Be sure to up date your info with the chip service when you move.

I have just found out as of December 21, 2011. That my cat CJ age 12 is in stage 3 renal failure. A cat is a senior by age 8. If you have a older cat have blood work done. If there is any issues you can start treatment sooner.

Joe, Welcome to Pet Commando. That's a crazy story about the cat. I'm so happy that the cat was rescued. I wonder if people would have gone to that extent in Texas to rescue a cat! I hope so.
I know Florida is full of animal lovers. When I visited Florida a few years ago there were a lot of people trying to help the manatees. Such fascinating animals.

That's a great story about the rescued cat. I am very glad that they caught the guy. That kind of abuse makes me mad. I wish more states cared so much about animals.

Joe, Thanks for joining Pet Commando. Four cats - what a handful. I bet they are a lot of fun.
We are here to help abused and abandoned pets. Please help spread the word about the show and the website to people in Florida. The more we reach the more we can inspire other to help animals in need.

- Hear In Tampa, FL is one place a person better not hurt any animal. The county animal services has some of the best people who will hunt down any one who hurts pets. There was a case about 3 years ago where this man did not like his girlfriends cat. He took the cat in it transport crate and toss in inside the crate into Tampa bay. By some grace of god the crate stay aflote. A man fishing heard the cat crying for help. It was to for for him to swim out and save the cat. He called 911 for help. The police and Sheriff's dept. Dispatch there patrol boats and fire boats. But there were about 15 mins out. The crate was starting to go under. The witness then stated that out of no place a U.S. Coast Guard helcopter arrived. The rescue swimmer jump from the aircraft and saved the cat. It took about a year for county animal services and the Sheriffs dept to hunt down the person who try to kill this cat he is now serving 5 years in state lockup and the other inmates have beat the crap out of him a few times. This cat now lives in a new home 3 homes from me.
