What The %@#$%^! Is Going On Here?

Fellow pet owners, here's a funny post/story I hope you'll enjoy. Think road trip with dogs..and kids..and well... Just read on and laugh with me, folks.

Dog Breed to Owner Matches: Australian Shepherd

In spite of it's name, the Australian Shepherd actually originates from North America, and is a breed that is relatively new, established in the 1920s.  It was developed and bred to be a herding dog, and as such is very protective of whatever it is supposed to watch over, be it human or animal.

Thank you!

We want to thank you so much for your help with our missing dogs. Chloe and Chief had been missing for 6 days. In less than 24 hrs after our post to your website, you contacted us and our dogs were home safe and sound in time for Thanksgiving dinner. We would like to thank you and everyone who was involved in the effort. Words can't discribe our appreciation! Jeff/Sheila and family.

Dog Breed to Owner Matches: Cardigan Welsh Corgi

Being a Pet Commando vs. Being a Hoarder

The main message is to recognize the pets that need help, intervene when needed, and…

Grooming Tip #4 For the Do-it-Yourself Type: Teeth Brushing for Dogs

dog tooth brush teeth advice Many people take for granted their dog's teeth, but brushing them is not nearly as difficult as one might think. Brushing a dog's teeth can add time to your dog's life by keeping it healthier.  Teeth brushing is just as important to a dog as it is to us. It helps prevent problems with gum disease, improves the over-all appearance of the teeth of the dog, and improve the…

Grooming Tip #3 For the Do-It-Yourself Type: Shedding

Often a dog owner will bring a dog in to be groomed with the complaint of hair all over the house, furniture, and bed. The most common misconception is that if they buy a short-haired dog, there will not be much hair left lying around to clean up... this is far from the truth!

Most dogs with short hair, the most popular being Chihuahuas, Labrador Retrievers, Rat Terriers, and Great Danes, actually shed more hair than most…
