I also have 2 horses, I bred them myself. Have recently broken them for ride and drive. I also rescued 2 west African pigmy goats, ( Gloria & Mohamid ), it's to do with his beard ! Not politicly correct I guess, never mind.!
Damir, perhaps there was a time they were grateful. Now....they're spoiled rotten with a sense of entitlement and I wouldn't have it any other way :-) I will post some pictures of them sometime this week.
Thanks, Damir. I am excited to learn more about the group. I am a relatively new dog owner, adopting my first one about two years ago and my second in December of 2011. The second one was about to be put to death (not gonna call it anything other than the ugly truth) I couldn't stand it so I called the shelter in Sherman, yelling and screaming and drove up from Dallas and picked him up. They (Goldie and Hank) are the joys of my life. I can't ever imagine not having pets, especially dogs, in my life. I try to help however I can - it rips my heart out to see an animal suffer. Enough, I'm certain I sound like a crazy ole dog lady...eh, such is life!
Thanks for the compliment. Fiona knows she is beautiful. She is so rotten. I had been crocheting flowers for this tote bag I was making and I just thought to myself she would look great "flower bombed". Those bright colors really looked good on her. I am so glad to be here.
Thank you so much for confirming my membership to Pet Commando. I love what you are doing for animals!! So many beautiful animals that deserve a life of happiness. Thank you again for what you do!!!!!!
Thank you... The dog was my 8 yr baby that I just lost to heartworms... But I have a bigger problem... A female pit that someone has abandoned and she really needs a good home.. What to do ??
I probably should not tell this about them, but they are Killerz...with the z. They actually take their food bowls during the day, and pull them over by these bushes. One will bark at the blackbirds that come to eat the food. The other hides in the bushes. When the bird is thoroughly distracted he burst out and kills the bird. I have never seen anything like it. They have slown down this year, but I was coming home to 5 or 6 an evening. I called animal control and showed him the video, he was amazed.
Hi! Thank you so much! I think this network is so needed and such a great idea. I live in a rural area that sees a lot of lost/abandoned dogs. Advocacy for these animals can never come in great enough numbers, it's wonderful to see something happening for them locally and wonderful to be a part of it.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes I have a few in my animal family! Besides the dogs and cats add 11 horses and 9 guinea hens and have two I'm needing to find homes for that I found 2 weeks ago. A Boxer momma dog and her pup. Pup is ready for weaning.

hi damir, thank you for the comment. one of my ideas for future is to offer ideas & help as needed for folks who have problems with their animals getting out of their fences. i would like to see less in the lost & found section of the herald. a few rocks put at a hole under the fence has never worked, whether a small or large dog. some of these animals end up at the shelters & not everyone checks there.

I love the picture of your horse poking through the fence. It's really cute. Brought a smile to my face. All of your pictures are just gorgeous!

Thanks, Damir! Sassy's case was very sad but I'm glad that those tough emotions were balanced by the happiness of making new friends.
