Saw the posting for Chewy on the website. He's a cutie, ain't he? Already had some inquiries. I think he'll have a good home pretty soon. He's in Denison now.
Well before I could post this dogs info I found his owner and he is safe and sound at home. He is the reason I joined all these websites. While I'm here whats your stance on feral cats? I have been feeding a few of them for about 4 years now. They are too wild to catch and they trust no one.One lets me pet her but only when I leave food out. These cats cannot be domesticated and contacting animal control is a death sentence because of their temperament.

Louis, your videos are what prompted me to join. I watched them all and was very moved. I think your a hero for the work you do. You can call on me for help anytime. I don't want to put my ph# out there, so let me know how to get it to you. Thanks again for all you do for our furry little friends! God Bless,

You're welcome on the Robert rescue! I'm not sure Roxy is coming home. On January 5th my other chihuahua Boomer went missing. Thanks for the postings about her and looking for her. I can only hope my chi babies are in a better place now. I have since got my chiweenie; Georgia and her's and Boomer's son; Ranger back from a friend. I thought I was too busy with school to have so many pets. School turned out to be pretty easy, and she got sick and couldn't take care of them all. I have also adopted a Great Dane mix named Blue.
Thanks, Louis. It was great meeting you, too. Although this case had a sad ending I feel very fortunate to have made contact with so many new friends who not only love animals, but are actually walking the walk to help them.
I have shared your site and mission information with our closed group, "Shelter Volunteer's," in hopes of possible collaborative work, either collectively or with individuals who share similar endeavors. Thank you for adding me! Pam
Tommie from the Red River SPCA, agreed to have her spayed and get her shots up to date and foster her until she found a home for her. I had adopted one of my dogs from her this past summer. So, thankfully, the dog is in good hands and as soon as she heals from her surgery, she will be placed up for adoption. We really grew attached to her, but our male Shepherd did not want any part in befriending her. We donated some extra money to her to assist with her facility. Thanks for asking!
thanks for checking in. I haven't heard anything yet, but am hoping it is because of the holidays. I am going to take him to the vet tomorrow to see if he has a micro chip and will call area pounds and shelters to see if someone has been looking for him. In the meantime we are teaching him to walk on leash and enjoying him.
I've decided to wait to adopt another pet until Tank crosses over. Just seems to be working out that way. Luke looks so sweet, but I think I'll wait until Tank crosses over until I hook up with another friend. Unfortunately, that will be within the next two months, as far as we can tell. I hope to be receiving emails about available puppy dogs in the meantime. Will be checking in from time to time. This is a great service to provide, for everyone concerned. Will talk soon.
Louis, thanks for the warm welcome. I started fostering pit bulls about a year ago. My foster girl Salsa is picky about her doggy friends, but with some slow introductions and removal of all triggers, she does good. I think my jrt has a larger than life personality and just doesn't put up or back down from her. I've had Salsa since May and we are having a tough time placing her as we believe she would do best as being an only dog in the house. Maybe someone will inquire about her from this site.
