He (calling him Derk) was trotting down the middle of Seven Hills Rd. In the country, east Denison Cherry Mound Area, Bells School District. The main roads around Seven Hills are 1753, Dungan Chapel and 69. This guy is so so smart! Potty trained him in 2 days, sweet. loves to go bye bye and has a super great personality! Less than 4mth of age, still has baby teeth. I have cats and chickens that he would chase if they ran by him but its all in fun, really wanting to play with them. Pretty perfect puppy!
So nice of you to invite me. Hey, sorry about Hank feasting on your knees, he still lacks a few of the more common social graces but he more than makes up for it in adorability, don't you think. Handsome-Hank and Goldie-Girl are furry bundles of love. Thanks again :-D

Am so hoping I can help in some small way. It is good to know there are poeple helping animals instead of euthanizing them.
Also, I am deeply sorry for your loss recently! Losing a pet is very hard and tragic! I lost my first pomeranian, Kato, three years ago to congestive heart failure. He was 16 and had been with me since I was a teenager! He went to college with me and shared all of my experiences through my "20's"! He was my best friend and his loss devastated me!
Hello! Happy to join your website! I really admire what you do and I am so happy to see someone in the Grayson County area truly looking out for the best interest of animals!! I teach in Lewisville at Killian Middle School! I teach Contemporary World; however, my true passion is animal welfare!! I am horrified daily by the constant abuse, abandonment, and neglect of animals! My dream is to someday be able to help animals in need everyday!! My dream career and life!!! I will start sharing as many of your animals as I can. I am friends with tons of animal welfare groups and animal lovers! Brooke
Thank you for 'friending me!' I am honored to be in the company of others who care as DEEPLY for animals as I do!
Time to turn in for the night. But I do so with a heavy heart, as my mind has been on 'replay' since last night's local news story.
An animal rescue shelter in Attica, Indiana, a town north of me, was broken into Tuesday night/overnight.
The person(s) have not been caught yet. I don't know if the shelter has security cameras (I would think that a security system/basic home alarm type system would exist in all animal related facilities!) But, I don't know if this shelter has one.
Nothing was stolen from the shelter; the ANIMALS (DOGS) were the TARGET! The dogs were forced to fight (I don't know if that means the person(s) brought in fighting dogs, or if the shelter dogs were forced to fight one another? It's just unbearable to learn of such evil cruelty inflicted upon animals!
These animals were already displaced, abandoned by their former so-called 'families.' They were confused and scared no doubt just being in a shelter environment. I know most, if not all, of these animals had begun to trust us humans again, due to the TLC they receive from the caring staff.
And then, in a blink of an eye, they are dragged out of their kennel in what had become their sanctuary, and tortured!
The news reporter showed a few photos of the dogs that had been attacked. Heart wrenching and anger were the feelings that flowed over me!! The staff said when they arrived at the shelter Wed morning, there was blood everywhere.
I was at work all day and most of this evening and have not been able to follow up on the story.
Oh how I wish I could be the one to hunt down the person(s) who did this! They are a waste of space on this earth! No trial needed, no jail time needed. All that is needed is a bullet!
I am not a violent person. And I never would have thought that I could ever shoot someone. But I do believe that if I ever encountered someone in the act of abusing an animal, or in this case, find the person after the abuse, I could eliminate them and then go on about my day knowing that at least one person will never be able harm another animal again!
I believe the reporter said one cat had been killed. And also maybe one dog. The surviving dogs had horrific and painful wounds!
Louis, please keep the Attica Shelter dogs and cats in your thoughts and prayers!!! And please ask others to do the same! I hope others will see this posting.
I think the name of the shelter is Paws and Claws Rescue Shelter.
Now it is time for me to snuggle with my woofers, and be so ever thankful that they are safe and happy!
Thank you Louis! It is an honor to be in the company and friendship of fellow animal lovers and advocates! Truly! I am so glad to know there are others like me out there. And so very happy that the animals have been so blessed to have you looking out for them! With all my heart I thank you, and the others out there!

Louis, I thought of you the other day when I got Chewy some engraved identification tags at Petsmart, one for the neck collar and one for the harness. Now to attach them.
You have done a wonderful job Louis!!!! My 4 dogs and one cat are just like children to me. Have been thinking of you so much lately. Yoshi was a very special kiddo. soar high Yoshi!!!!
Hi Louis, We have never seen your show before, but it looks really interesting and I love that you help animals. We will be looking for your show so that we can get a better idea of who you are and exactly what you do. Do you know what channel in North Texas carries Pet Commando?
Jack (the name I call him) was running on our street and started following me. I have checked for chip, put flyer at some vet offices, posted on my Facebook and had friends share the post, put a big sign on busy street corner, and gone to doors in this area checking if neighbors recognize him. Today I will visit other vets and see about a newspaper ad. Any other suggestions?
Yes, Just got home about to get dinner then we will see how it goes tonight. I don't expect problems with mine, I go every weekend to two of the North Dallas dog parks, that's my German Shepherd mix who is my Avatar photo.
No, we have not. It's been a month since he left and my husband and I strongly feel someone took him in as their own. We still look for him at parks and when we drive around.

His name is Conway. He's a rescue and I couldn't be happier with him. I can't believe someone gave him up.
