Sorry to hear about Pt2 Pup's heart worms! I was just talking to a good friend about it and she told me that she had a dog with heart worms, and that she had spent so much on vet bills and couldn't afford the heart worm shots, so the vet recommended she treated the dog by giving it the heart worm pills once a month. The heart worms eventually went away due to the pills - it took a year or so, but it worked. It is certainly worth checking into.

I'm not sure yet, trying to find the money to get into a vet to get something more than that test done.  With it still being in short supply the cost is still sky high on the treatment.

I am very sorry to hear that! Can he be treated? The warm winter is contributing to more heartworms this year :-(
