@Diane Greer - the dumpster was in Munson Park. My brother says there are dogs dumped there often. Horrible.

Laws for inhumane treatment of animals should be enforced just as they are for mistreatment of children and with the same type of penalty. So sad that some have no compassion for life of animals that could be a loving companion for someone. I love my Denison pound puppy, I got her when I was going through a rough time in my life and she was just what I needed.

Makes me wonder how many dumpster animals aren't found in time.  I would think that such an inhumane action of rejection with prolonged hours of suffering would hurt worse than a quick death.  The eyes of the puppies reflected sadness.  We have to stay on our toes--and, if necessary, be willing to step "gently" on others' toes.  The spider segment was enlightening.  As usual, your compassion and humor flow through your narratives, Louis.  Keep truckin'.
